Welcome to the Design Build Associates website. We are a small design/build company serving Austin and surrounding areas. We specialize in residential remodeling with an emphasis on green building techniques and products. The owner, Jason Krohmer, is a college educated construction technologist with over 32 years experience in the industry.
This company was founded in 1997 as a response to the large amount of high-end remodels that failed or were sub-par in quality.  Our crew is a diverse group, men and women from many different backgrounds and cultures. We celebrate diversity while supporting the efforts of working class Americans to make a better life for themselves and their families.
Our commitment to green building practices and conservation of resources is solid. We use only what we need to complete a project. We recycle all packaging. We donate usable items to Habitat for Humanity. In everything we do, we consider the consequences.
